Hi There,
I‘m Lisa, a hydration addict and the founder of beVIVID glass bottles. Today I
would like to step out, reach out and touch base with you, heart to heart, as a lot
of us are confused, overwhelmed and uncertain.
I feel honored to be part in Swantje‘s shout out for a #strongertogether, building a
sense of community in a time of social distancing. Like all of you, I am also sad and
frightened. Especially being and running a small business, while homeschooling
kids, trying to hold up sanity, not knowing where this will take us and in upmost
fear for my friends in Italy.
But I’m motivated to connect and be #strongertogether.There are many ways we
can all be supportive to one another during this outbreak. It can be anything from
sharing pictures of our favorite accounts and brands, tagging them in our stories,
or even buying from their shops, if we can. I have full confidence that as long as
we all pull together and stay connected, while staying at home, we will make it
through these times of confusion.

Wer steckt dahinter?
Während meiner Zeit in Asien erlebte ich viele neue Bräuche. Einer inspirierte mich besonders: die Angewohnheit, sich niemals weiter als eine Armlänge von einem Schluck Wasser zu entfernen. Meine Freundin dort verriet mir, dass dieses Ritual der Schlüssel schöner, gesunder Haut sei und diese sah ich dort fast überall. Es dauerte also nicht lange, bis auch ich die Armlänge zu einem Schluck Wasser mein persönliches Beauty-Ritual nannte. Mit dieser neuen Angewohnheit fiel es mir so leicht wie nie, jeden Tag tatsächlich zwei Liter und mehr zu trinken. Das Ergebnis war unfassbar und bestätigte, dass bewusstes Wassertrinken die Basis eines gesunden Körpers und toller Haut ist. Motiviert mein Wasserritual beizubehalten, gelang es mir allerdings nach meiner Rückkehr nicht, den richtigen Begleiter zu finden. Die meisten Flaschen waren leider aus Plastik, nicht wirklich ansprechend und oft nicht 100% auslaufsicher. Nach etlichen Fehlschlägen, mit einem Trinkbegleiter glücklich zu werden, entschloss ich mich, meine Vorstellung einer perfekten Armlänge selbst in die Hand zu nehmen. Damit wurde der Grundstein für beVIVID gelegt. Eine Flasche aus handgefertigtem Borosilikat-Glas und sanfter Silikonhülle, die mich immer wieder zum Trinken motiviert.
